The king’s name and title within a circle, ‘al-sulṭān ibn al-sulṭān Fatḥ ʿAlī Shāh Qājār’ (‘Sultan, son of Sultan, Fath ʿAli Shah Qajar’ in Arabic/Persian). Rev. Within a central circle surrounded by floral designs and a dotted circle, ‘zarb-e dār al-ʿibāda Yazd, 1232’ (‘Struck in the Abode of Worship Yazd, 1232’ in Persian). Album 2865. Struck from slightly worn dies and with a minor surface crack on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
